Tintin in Korea

Tintin and Snowy were boarding a Korean Airlines flight to attend a regular session of the International Press Institute (IPI), as observers. Resting his head on the back of the seat with half- closed eyes, Tintin was thinking of Chang who was also flying to Korea from China to participate in the same forum. ‘I’m going to meet you soon’ he mumbled to himself with a big smile and his heart throbbing with great expectation. At the same time, Snowy was sitting in the corner of the cargo shivering with fear of imagining Koreans who eat dog.

At 5; 00 pm,
Tintin heard a knock at the front door,
“Sir here’s a message for you.” The tall and handsome uniformed bellboy said when he opened the door.
“Thank you.” Tintin shortly replied and opened the envelope-‘Welcome to Korea. How’s Snowy?’-
‘Umm it must be Chang’ he smiled.
Snowy still looked feel uneasy and refused to eat. “Come on Snowy, here’s your favorite meal” patting Snowy on the back Tintin whispered.
-Tin tin, you know, I reckon that I might die here- Snowy sighed faintly and closed heavily his eyes. “You look so tired.” “Be strong my old fellow.” Tintin said inspiringly

At 7pm,
Chang visited to Tintin.
“Wow! Chang!” “Tintin”! They tightly embraced each other.
“How are you Tintin?”
“How are you Chang?”
“We haven't seen each other for ages.”
-Wooah Wooah- -Hi chang- Snowy waged his tail intensely walking around them.
“Oh, hi Snowy,” Chang said delightfully, “you are still looking good.”
“You are really lucky guy, Snowy. Aren’t you?”
“What a nice sweet room! Chang said softly glancing around room.
“It’s especially for guests with pets.” Tintin said slowly. “Actually, Snowy costs me a lot.” “Ha,ha,ha,”
-What? That’s human- Snowy barked few times. -I absolutely didn’t want to visit Korea but you insisted that I come!-
“Let’s have a dinner.” Tintin said. “We can go upstairs, there is a good restaurant with fantastic night views.”
-Please, don’t eat any strange food. - Snowy sighed again quietly and turned around.
Live music in the restaurant put Tintin and Chang in a good mood.
While Tintin and Chang were enjoying their meal, three people (one looked like a European the rest of them were Korean) sitting opposite side their table kept taking sidelong glances at Tintin.
Then, European looked at his wristwatch and spoke in hushed tones.
“Be quick without any mistake.” “Got it?”
Then two of the men left their seats quietly.
“Okay, shall we move to the sky lounge to have a drink?” Tintin said after he and Chang finished the dinner
“Sounds good”.

“Cheers!”
“Cheers!”
“I’m really glad to be here.”
“Me too”
Both of them were quiet for a while as they recalled their past in Hukou.
Chang, by the way, what are those? Tintin broke the silence as he looked down at the neon signs Umm… Oxford, Harvard, Cambridge… oh, Yale over there”
“Those could be private English schools like in China” Chang said firmly.
” “Have you read the article? Chang continually and eagerly spoke to Tintin
“Well, middle class Koreans are spending up to 40% of their disposable incomes on English tuition.”
“Really?” Tintin seemed to be surprised.
“And the problem is, private language schools employ anyone who has blue eyes and fair hair,”
“What?” “It doesn’t make sense”
“So, even criminals, prostitutes and drug users could teach English here, as long as they forge the certificate.”
“Are you sure?”
“I’ve read the Korean Times.”
‘Umm… it’s unbelievable.” Tintin said doubtfully. “Anyway what time is it now?”

At 9:00 pm.
Meanwhile, sitting on the carpet in front of the window, Snowy merely looked down at the street. He got up and started to growl angrily when he spotted an advertisement for a picturesque dog’s farm with a luxurious restaurant. Then, Snowy heard something strange sounds. He pricked up his ears and carefully crept close to the main door.

“Bang!” All at once, Snowy was knocked down.
“Here’s a rubbish bin.”
“Be quiet!”
“Move! Move! Quick”
“Ueaps! Blood!”
“Shit,!”
“Move! Quick!”
Two men, wearing cleaner’s uniforms, hid quickly as Tintin and Chang got out of the elevator.
“Hey, Snowy” Tintin and Chang looked around the room searching for Snowy.
“Where are you?” Tintin whistled.
Tintin! Chang yelled “There’s some blood here.”
“Where?”
“Oh my goodness.”
“What’s happened to Snowy?.”
“Mmm.. let me think for a second.”
“Let’s call my Korean friend, he is a journalist, we need his help.”
Chang hurriedly picked up the phone.
“Wait! Please wait a moment.” Tintin said urgently. “Chang give me a second please.”
Tintin sat on the couch folded his hands in his lap and closed his eyes for a while.
Suddenly, he got up and asked to Chang. “Did you send this message to me this afternoon?”
“What’s this?”
“No, absolutely not.” Chang said anxiously looking over the message.
“Chang.”Tintin said determinedly. “I need your Korean friend.”
“No problem, Tintin.”

At 11:00pm,
Snowy had a splitting headache as he recovered from unconsciousness.
“Where am l?”
Snowy tried to lift up his head and have a look around
He could see some spots of blood on his forelegs and realized that he was a wearing collar which was connected to a leash that tied to a pillar
“What’s wrong?”
“Where is Tintin and Chang?
“Keep an eye on Snowy.”
“Why don’t you kill snowy?”
“Shut up!”
“You gonna sell Snowy aren’t you?”
“Watch the dog!”
“Shit!”
“I’ll call Tintin right now.”
Two men quarrelled beside Snowy while Snowy pretend to still be unconscious.
Sometimes later, Snowy opened his eyes and caught them nodding. He thought to himself “It’s good chance to escape”
Snowy quietly wriggled his forelegs to loosen managed to get it off. Then, he crawled carefully without making any noise and eventually, successfully got away.
However, Snowy didn’t know where he was.
He was exhausted and drifted off to sleep. In the meantime, Chang’s friend arrived at the hotel.
“Nice to meet you, I’m Tintin and thank you for coming.”
“Hello I’m Kim and I’m sorry to here what has happened Tintin, but don’t worry we’ll find snowy soon.”
“Thanks Kim.”
“Take a seat please.” At that moment, the phone rang.
Tintin grapped the phone.
“Hello, hello”
But the line went death.
“Kim, it needs to be advertised in the newspaper ASAP.” Tintin said seriously showing a picture of a man.
“Who is he?” Kim asked.
“He is a terrorist who seemed to have already got information about me.”
“What?” Chang claimed and said “let me see the picture……Mmm…looks familiar.” Chang scrutinized the picture for a while. “Oh! Tintin, this looks like that guy I saw just before.”
“Where?”
“In the restaurant”
Tintin hovered around the phone, keep thinking of his mission which was to find out the terrorist’s location. The phone rang again.
“I’ll get it” Kim said hastily.
Kim spoke in Korean language on the phone for a while.
“What did they say?” Chang asked, after Kim hung up the phone.
“Did you write something nasty about our culture of eating dog?”
“Umm… yes I once wrote about Asian’s food culture: eating dog in Korean, whale in Japanese and monkey in Chinese respectively to the ‘New Era’ which is a popular periodical in the world.” Tintin said helplessly.
“It’s revenge. They are threatening you to sell snowy to a restaurant.”
“But, Tintin, we don’t eat pet dogs.” Kim tried to explain.
“Yeah, I admit that we eat dog but a certain breed of dogs, not like snowy.”
“Anyhow, I think, someone has kidnapped Snowy to take my attention away from finding the terrorist.” Tintin said suspiciously. Meanwhile elsewhere in the city.
“Wow, look at the white dog over there!”
“Where?”
“Mom the dog seems to be hurt.”
“Please don’t touch it.”
“Are you okay?” The little girl looked at snowy carefully and said gently “open your eyes.”
“Oh, he’s still breathing! He’s Alive!”
“Oh, poor thing! The woman said sadly.
“Mom, we should take the dog home.”
“Well, okay then, but we should find its owner.”
“Mom, shall we talk to the police?”
“Honey, it’s better to call to the radio station.” “They can broadcast the details.” “Anyway, what happened to this dog?”
“Who’s its owner?” her mom murmured.
Early the next morning around 6:00am.
“Yes sir, I’ll do it right now.”
The terrorist was wearing black gloves and sunglasses after finishing the cell-phone call, He walked towards 63 building, the tallest building in Korea.

At the same time, Tintin got a phone call from Kim .He said that he had got information about the terrorists from readers and that the photo was of his English teacher at a private language school. He had taught the reader until last week in an evening class, which was located in 63 building.
“Shit, Snowy was tricked.” Tintin and Chang got dressed in hurry and ran to the highest building. Meanwhile, Kim also drove to the building.
“What are you going to do?” Kim asked. “Tintin I think it’s better to tell the police.”
“No, if the terrorist notices that we have found his location, he will destroy this building earlier than in his original plan.” Tintin said.
Chang you keep an eye on this exit and Kim, you just pretend to be a plumber and this….
Tin tin looked at the blueprint of 63 building as he told Kim what to do.

On the 39th Floor.
The terrorist entered the toilet and tapped to find a ventilation shaft. Tintin watched him from the surveillance screens on the ground floor ‘Okay, we’ve got him’
Five minutes later on the 39th floor
Kim saw the Tintin give him the ok sign.
Kim opening the door and talked to him
“I ah~ umm speak English not” Kim tried to explain he had to fix this toilet using gestures with few English words in order to let him get out.
Tin tin was hiding behind the door waiting for the terrorist
Tin tin heard the door open, and hit the man over head with a stick knocking him out.
‘Bang!!!’

At 8:00 am,
Kim said Snowy had been found and now he was at a vet’s.
Tintin exclaimed. “Oh! Thank goodness!”
On the way to the vet’s clinic, Tintin explained his mission: 63 building where the IPU meeting was to be held was targeted during the forum period. So the terrorist disguised himself as an English teacher to explore the building structure in advance. “It was piece of cake for him.” Kim said calmly. “Snowy!” Tintin yelled with tearing coming to his eyes as he hugged Snowy.
-Tin tin, where were you- Snowy was staring at Tintin for a while and slowly wagged his tail silently saying -please never write anything about different cultures again.-

Two weeks later, Tintin and Snowy were boarding a Korean airlines flight. Resting his head on the back of the seat with half -closed eyes, he’s thinking of cultural differences and Booming English study in the Asia region with a bitter smile, whereas, Snowy was sitting in the corner of cargo hold thinking about a little girl who saved his life with a big smile.

My Fanfiction Spirited Away

My Fanfiction Spirited Away (haven't got a name yet)

Hi everyone :) Here's my fanfiction. It's so embarrassing having to put it here :'( It's around 2,400 words. Sorry, believe me, I already tried to cut some part off already = =" If you have time (and patience haha), please read it and please do leave me some comments, either positive or negative ones. I need someone to point out where I can improve (so don't be polite, just say it!)

By the way, at the beginning I said that I wanted to write about the first encounter between Yubaba and Haku, and Pear Jin suggested I could write a story about Yubaba and her baby too. This idea was very interesting so I planned to write about both Haku and Boh's (Yubaba's baby) stories. Unfortunately, I couldn't squeeze everything into a 1200-word fanfiction so there is only a story about Yubaba and her baby here :'(

“My baby!! Where is my baby!?!” A woman, dressed in deep blue clothes with a large glowing red ruby pinned on the middle of her collar, screamed in terror, breaking the silence of a peaceful morning.

“Calm down, Yubaba,” said another young woman in the room. “I saw Boh crawled outside. Maybe he just needed some fresh air” Raising her left hand, decorated with colourful jewel rings, she pointed out toward the partly open door without lifting here eyes from the sewing machine she was working with.

“YOU SAW MY BABY CRAWLING OUTSIDE AND YOU DIDN’T GRAB HIM!?!” shouted Yubaba. Lines and wrinkles on her face became more obvious as her face distorted with rage.

“Told you, he needed some fresh air. You can’t keep him locked up in this house all the time.” Her hands stopped moving now as she looked up to face her twin sister straight in the eye.

The two sisters stared at each other for a brief moment before Yubaba once again broke the silence. “It is not safe out there, Zeniba.” She spoke slowly, stressing each word as though to make sure they reach her only audience. “And you know that.”

The young woman merely shook her head when her twin sister rushed out the door. Yubaba’s hair that glistened in the early sunlight was ashy white. Zeniba caressed her long pony-tail unconsciously and sighed.

Unlike Yubaba’s, her hair was still jet black, as a girl this age should be. They had been exactly alike, like their own reflections in a mirror, before things changed. After that time, whenever Zeniba looked at her sister, she could only see the reflection of herself, in a hundred years to come.

***************

“Boh, sweetie, where are you? Sweetie…” Yubaba’s voice trailed off in despair. She had searched through their flower garden but her baby was nowhere to be seen. Doubtfully, Yubaba turned to the forest surrounding their house, not sure which way to go.

“Kohaku!” A thought came across her mind and she broke off into a run towards the faint sound of the flowing water.

***************

At the end of the forest where its edge met a sparkling river stood a white dragon with two golden-brown horns and an emerald mane. Her question poured out of her mouth as soon as Yubaba saw him.

“Kohaku, have you seen Boh?”

Before he could answer, Yubaba caught a glimpse of reddish liquid that merged with the tide near the river bank where she was standing. Shimmered by the gentle morning rays as it danced along the current, it created a beautiful ruby gleam. Yubaba’s eyes fixed on the crimson liquid as if she was in a trance. Then, her sense returning, she let out a high shriek and rushed up the river bend without further words with the white dragon.

***************

“Baby… my baby…” Yubaba murmured as she was running. Her memory flashed back to the first day of their encounter when the river brought the baby – covered in blood – into her arms. Each and every detail of what happened on that day was still fresh in her mind: how she ran madly to her house, holding the bleeding baby, how the warmth from him was fading away, how she desperately begged her sister to cure the baby, how she quietly refused saying he was dead.

“No, he’s still breathing!!” Yubaba recalled the conversation with her sister. “Save him…please, Zeniba.”

“He’ll stop soon enough, don’t worry. He isn’t meant to be here, nor live here.” She gave Yubaba a faint smile but there was sadness in her eyes, showing that it was not an easy decision for her as well.

“Please, Zeniba, we can’t have children and you know how much I’ve always wanted to have one,” pleaded the young Yubaba, her voice trembling. “Please save him, Zeniba, and I’ll never ask anything of you again.” She felt to her knees, sobbing silently.

The young sorceress examined her sister silently while contemplating the final decision. “I hope you know what you are asking for,” muttered Zeniba sternly. “And I hope you remember that this world has its rules. Whatever you get, you’ve to give something of equal value in return.”

“I know that.” Yubaba looked up, her eyes gleaming with hope.

Zeniba got to her feet and reached out for the ancient book from the shelf. The book of which she had been taking care for a long time while waiting for her sister’s power to awake. Written in it were thousands of spells that could magically grant everything it was asked for. She opened its black cover and flipped swiftly to the page she wanted before staring intently at her sister, trying for one last time to talk her out of it.

“I said you have to give something and I mean it. This is not gonna be like those times I cure a rabbit’s broken leg or a bird’s bleeding wing you brought back with you. You won’t just feel sick for a few days. It’s the life of this baby we’ll being back, and, even if I don’t know exactly what you’ve to pay, its price is gonna be extremely high. Are you sure?”

A determined smile spread across her flawless face “never been so sure, sis.”

“Well then, one last thing, Yubaba.” Zeniba’s voice flew with the gentle wind which began to blow stronger in their room. “It’s you I’m saving, not the baby, and I want you to remember that.”

***************

The last flashing light in the room vanished at the same time the whirling wind ceased. Yubaba was now holding a giggling baby tenderly in her arms with a beam on her face. Zeniba, on the other hand, was completely utterless, aghast by the appearance her own sister.

“Thanks a lot, Zeniba,” said Yubaba with the voice that even herself hardly recognised. Her sweet, soothing voice of an adolescent became hoarse like that of an old woman; Her silky black hair that had once resembled the colour of the darkest night sky turned ashy. It was as if all the youth had fled from her, left behind only wrinkles and lines on her face, proclaiming false days and nights she had never been through. “It’s alright, sis.” Silent tears ran down her cheeks but in her eyes shone the greatest happiness as though the utmost wish had been granted.

***************

A familiar cry from the green bushes nearby brought Yubaba back from the past. The old woman abruptly changed her path and pushed herself through the shrubs, only to find a little baby surrounded by a group of menacing Takuads – tiny monkey-like creatures with extremely sharp nails. They always hunted in group – to compensate their size – and often used their nails to make numerous cuts on their preys before patiently waiting for them to bleed to death.

There were visible wounds all over Boh’s body but none was fatal. As soon as he caught a glimpse of his mother, the baby tried to call her but his voice trailed away to be nothing more than a whisper. “Mama..”

“Sweetie!!!” screamed Yubaba, forcing her way to him, ignoring the enclosing Takuads. “Get away from my baby!” The aged woman, holding the baby tightly in her arms, whirled around and bellowed at the brutes which slightly drew back, obviously seemed to be taken aback by her sudden appearance and action. “GET LOST!!!”

Although she knew no magic, as her sister said she was not yet ready to learn them, there was bizarre energy floating in the air. The energy so intense and threatening that even the brutes like Takuads could sense it. After a moment of indecision, the confused Takuads reluctantly retreated. Not wasting any more time, Yubaba hurriedly headed back to her house where she knew her sister would be waiting.

***************

“Well done,” said Zeniba with a big smile on her face when she saw Yubaba entering the house. “I could even feel it awakening from here.”

Ignoring her sister’s praise, Yubaba held out her baby who was still crying from the bleeding wounds. “He’s not deadly injured like last time. Can you heal him?”

“Of course.” Her sister’s smile widened, handing the black cover book to her. “Even you can do it now.”

“Me?” asked Yubaba, astonished.

“Yes, I told you your power has awakened. You weren’t listening, were you?” Zeniba laughed merrily, her hand turning over pages to find the one she was looking for.

Looking nervously at the same antique book once brought back the baby’s life, Yubaba took a deep breath and began chanting the spell for the first time.

**************

“Here, sit down.” Zeniba offered her sister a chair after the baby chuckle filled the room once more. “I guess you’ll be feeling sick like this for a few days.” She closed the book and turned to place it back on the shelf.

“Thanks, Zeniba,” murmured Yubaba as she sat down. She was breathing heavily but her eyes fixed firmly on Zeniba, or rather the black book in her hand.

*************

The chilling night wind flew in from an open window and gently woke the young sorceress up. Zeniba stirred for a moment before springing out of the bed, feeling that something had terribly gone wrong. The room was eerily quiet and showed no sign of other lives apart from hers.

After lighting a candle, she quickly checked Yubaba’s bed and the baby’s cradle close by, both of which turned out to be empty. Zeniba swirled back, her eyes instinctively searched among the books on the shelf, looking for the only one she knew it was not there. Glancing swiftly around the room for the last time, Zeniba rushed out the door with a strong sick feeling in her stomach.

***************

The restless sound of the wave grew louder with the smell of the sea thicker in the air by every step she took. It had been a long walk from where she lived but Zeniba finally arrived. In front of her was a small bridge which connected the land and an enormous bathhouse. Although it was late at night, the lights inside the bathhouse were brightly lit and the white smoke was leaking out slowly from the windows.

“Beautiful, isn’t it?” A familiar voice behind her broke the silence.

Zeniba looked back and stared at her sister for a long time before asking with noticeable pain in her voice. “Why are you doing this, Yubaba?”

“I put all the effort in making this bathhouse, and it’s indeed very beautiful, isn’t it?” Yubaba repeated the question while her eyes were still lingering on the bathhouse. Embraced by the darkness of the night, the building, painted in red, resembled a dazzling, gleaming ruby. “It’s gonna be his home from now. Boh will live here and I can be sure he’ll be safe.”

“You stole the book and came all the way here just because of this thing, Yubaba!?”

“Oh, yes! Here is your book.” The old sorceress handed the book back to Zeniba who grabbed it skeptically. “Thanks a lot though I know you didn’t want me to take it. I’ve already memorised all the spells so the book itself is of no use to me. Hope these spells will become handy someday.”

“It’s not gonna do him any good, Yubaba,” snapped Zeniba. The book was clutched tightly in her arms. “You just changed the place to lock him up from our house to this bathhouse. Yeah, I know I told you he doesn’t belong here and those who share our world will not welcome him. But this is definitely not the way to strengthen or protect him!”

“He doesn’t have to be strong, just be safe with me is enough.” Yubaba looked back at the bathhouse once more, this time with the profound sadness Zeniba had never seen in her sister’s eyes. “One thing I haven’t told you, sis.” Yubaba mumbled silently as if talking to herself. “The price I had to pay for this bathhouse; He got his home now, so I lost mine.”

“What do you mean, Yubaba?” The question slipped through Zeniba’s lips not louder than a whisper. The hand that was holding the book stiffened with alarming fear.

I can’t stay here. I can't stay at our house, or anywhere else because I used my magic to give him his home. It's, like you say, something equal in return, explained Yubaba slowly. The bathhouse opens at night so I’ll be flying, wandering aimlessly in the daytime when everyone here is sleeping.”

“You’re out of your mind, Yubaba. I’ve always known you’re mad about this kid but I’d never thought you would go…this far…” Zeniba shook her head, not wanting to accept the truth.

“You’re right, sis. He’s the only thing I could ever wish for, and with everything I have, I’ll protect him,” admitted Yubaba silently.

“I know I can’t talk you out of it, but mark my words, Yubaba. This bathhouse will only harm Boh and you yourself, one way or another. I can feel something evil intensely from it.”

Though knowing that those words were spoken out of her sister’s anxiety, Yubaba merely smiled vaguely in return.

Far away to her right, where the sleepless sea touched the sky, a golden line began to form itself, softly, patiently across the horizon. The old sorceress observed it quietly before taking a step back from her sister, preparing herself for the very first flight.

“Zeniba, I don’t know what we’ll become and which roads we’ll take from now on,” sighed Yubaba. “But I’m sure that I’ll always make decisions for Boh’s sake, even if it means I’ve to threaten others, and maybe you’re not gonna like that.” Her words were softly spoken but a solemn warning could be clearly sensed. “I won’t like it but if you’re in my way to stop me someday, I’m afraid I’ll have to be hard on you, sis.”

“Don’t worry.” Zeniba grinned, waving away the uneasy feeling from her own sister. “Leave that for tomorrow to worry about and actually I think I kinda get use to it already. Isn’t that what you’ve been doing all this time, causing me endless troubles?”

Yubaba took another step back and a weak smile appeared on her face “By the way, you were pretty quick, sis. I didn’t expect you to be here so soon.”

“Well,” uttered Zeniba proudly, giving a heartfelt smile back in return. “I’m sure I could find you even if you crossed the line and entered the world beyond ours. We’re twins after all, aren’t we?”

Fan-Fiction (Heroes season 2-Slyar)

Sylar in Season 2 Chapter Three — Kindred
Original Air Date: 8 October 2007; I saw it on 16 October 2007.
Sylar awakens on a beach with a redhead. She explains that she can cast illusions, and that he shouldn't move or he may tear his stitches from the operation on his stomach. She tells him that she "dragged" him away from New York and that the people that she works for fixed his wounds. Sylar asks to see what is real, and "Michelle" reveals a crude medical facility. When he recovers enough to move, he tries to use his powers, but finds himself unable to. Candice tells him that she will help him gain new abilities "by making it easy," and demonstrates her ability. Intrigued, he interrupts her plan by striking her in the head with a mug. He proceeds to kill her and attempts to take her power, but cannot use it. He then leaves the building for the first time and discovers that he is in the middle of a tropical jungle with no other visible human habitation.

Action for Sylar:
One girl named Michelle pulled Sylar off Kirby Plaza, Her ability is to make illusions.
This girl is the person that the company sent to take care of Sylar, after Sylar was awake from the injury. He tried to make a cup move with his mind, but he failed. He said to Michelle:”I can’t make it move. I can’t freeze anything. Ican’t move things. Wha happened to them?”
Michelle said:”Uh, they must have disappeared with your injuries.”
Sylar said:”I thought you said you were taking care of me?”
Michelle said:”I am sorry. Uh, are you breathing? No collapsed lung? No infection from
the wound?”
Sylar was really angry and said:”Everything that I have been working for, everything that
I had, it’s gone.”
Michelle said:”Listen, the people I work for, they are gonna make sure you get better.
You back’s already healed. It is just your chest we’re worried about. And
when that heals, you will be able to reacquire your powers. With my help,
of course.”
Sylar said:”You. How are you gonna help? You gonna make me some more eggs?”
Michelle said:”By making it easy. By making it fun. I can take you anywhere you want to
go. Paris. London. How about Japan? And I can be anyone you want me to
be. I can help you. We were meant to do this together.”
Sylar said:”I underestimated you. You really are extraordinary. Just like me.” Then, he used the cup on the table to knock her down. He said:”You are right. I am gonna get my abilities back. Starting with yours.” After he took her power, he tried to use it, unfortunately, it was not working. He did not have it.

Sylar was narcose on a road somewhere in Mexico, he was saved by Maya, Alejandro and Derek, they took him onto their car, after Sylar was awake, Derek asked him:”Where’s your stuff? You’re travelling pretty light.”
Sylar said:”I got robbed. Been walking for three days. Thank god you came along.”
Maya asked him:”Where are you going?”
Sylar said:”going home to America. New York.”
Maya said:”New York. This is where we’re going.”
Sylar asked:”Do you have family there?”
Maya said:”No. Uh…we need to find this man. Dr. Suresh.”
Sylar said:”This is a coincidence. I know this book. I’ve read it.”
She said:”Really?”
Sylar said:”Why are you searching for Dr. Suresh?”
Maya said:”For a…how you say this, answer.”
Sylar asked:”To What? I know Dr. Suresh. We’re old friends.”
Maya said:”You and Dr. Suresh?”
Sylar said:”You’ve helped me. Now I can return the favor. I can…I can take you to him. I
can help you find him.”
Maya’s brother Alejandro asked her:”What did he say?”
Maya said to him:”He knows the man who wrote the book. He’ll take us to him. Of all
the people to find – It’s amazing.”
She asked Sylar for his name, and Sylar asked:”It’s Gabriel. Gabriel gray. Just like the angel.” Then, they stopped at a small town to have some rest, Derek bought a newspaper, he found that Maya and her brother are homicides. Then, he told Sylar, and Sylar siad:”Well, golly, they seem so…”
Derek said to Sylar:”Dude, I have been riding with them for two days. We gotta ditch
them.”
Sylar said:”Okay, um…all right, I’ll distract them. And you…you go call the police.
There’s a payphone right inside.”
And then, Sylar killed Derek with a brick. After that, Sylar went back into the car himself said:”We have a problem. I’m gonna ask you a question, and you need to tell me the truth.” He pointed at the photo on newspaper and asked Maya:”This. Is this you?”
Maya answered:”Yes, this is us, but it is not our fault. We didn’t mean to hurt anyone.”
Sylar said:”Well, you can tell the police that, because Derek is calling them right now.” Maya said:”Please, no!” She was getting scared, she was about to cry, her tear is black, when her tear drops, people around her, their eyes would turn black, then, black tear, and die in a few seconds. In order to save these people, her brother must be with her, holding her hands, absorb her black tear. So Sylar saw everything, he said:”You both…have power.”
Maya siad:”This is not our fault. We don’t know what’s happening to us.”
Sylar said:”That’s why you need to find Dr. Suresh. Believe me, I understand what
you’re going through. To be held responsible for things that you didn’t mean
to do. Being hunted. I’ve helped Suresh with so many people like you. He
will know what to do.” Then, Sylar started the car engine.

Instead, they find a half-naked Peter handcuffed inside the empty container. They ask him where the merchandise is, to which he replies that he doesn't know. Tuko tries to strike him, but Peter defends himself by shooting an electrical bolt from his free hand, hurling his attacker to the ground. The other thugs draw their guns on him and ask him who he is, but Peter doesn't know.

Action for Peter:
Peter Petrelli was found and his right hand was locked up in a large container by a group of ipod robbers in Cork, Ireland. These robbers were surprised to see only Peter Petrelli inside but not the ipods when they opened the container. So the boss of those robbers asked Peter Petrelli:”What the hell are you doing here? Where are the ipods?” At that time, Peter Petrelli is very scared, he didn’t say anything. Meanwhile, one of the robbers was going to use some violence to jog his memory, suddenly, Peter Petrelli raised his left hand, a spark came out from his left hand and hit the man down. Then, the boss used his gun pointing at Peter Petrelli and said: ”Who are you? What’s your name?” Then, Peter Petrelli said: ”I don’t know.” Finally, these robbers took him into dark room and tied him up on a chair, one black man poured a bucket of water onto Peter Petrelli’s face, and Peter Petrelli was awake, he asked:”Where am I?” The black man punch on his face and then said: Home.” Then, the other white man said to him: ”You took something that’s ours, boy-o.” Then, the boss said: “Just tell us where you sthed the ipods. We’ll cut your binds. You’ll bon your way. As square a deal as you’re likely to find.” Then Peter Petrelli answered: “I didn’t take anything.” Boss said: ”Right, with the thousands of shipping containers coming through cork harbor every day, you just happen to be having tea in the one we were sent to rob.” Peter Petrelli said:”I don’t know how I got in there.”
The boss said:”You might wanna consider remembering, boyle. You’re in a bad spot.”
One day after, the boss’s sister came into the dark room and said to Peter Petrelli:”Bet you were prettier yesterday.I like your necklace. What does it mean?”
Peter Petrelli answered:”I wish I knew.”
The girl said:”Let’s try an easier one. What’s your name?”
Peter Petrelli said:”I don’t know.”
Girl Said:”It’s not your day, is it? I’m Caitlin. Your know that much now.”
Peter said:”Caitlin.”
Girl said:”mm-hmm?”
Peter said:”What are they gonna do to me?”
Girl said:”I don’t know. Whatever my brother thinks is best.”
Peter said:”Your brother? Did he send you in here?”
Girl said:”He’d pitch an epic fit. Thought I’d try a kinder tack. Thing is, this job, it’s bigger than
you and a couple of quid. They pulled it for this man named mcsorely. Promised
delivery today.”
Peter said:”So what happens if the guy doesn’t get what he wants?”
Girl said:”You have to remember something. Anything—a name, a face.”
Peter said:”First thing I remember is your brother and his crew finding me. Then the big guy
came at me and.”
Girl said:”And an electrical short blew tuko on his arse. I heard the story.”
Peter said:”The spark. I think it came from me. My hand. I, I know that it seems.”
Girl said:”Is it possible? I’ve just rung out a lot of your blood. You don’t have a mark on you.”
Then, they both looked at the mirror. The girl went out the room. His brother told her:”Keep an eye on him, if he so much as lays an inconsiderate fart, you grab the gun.”
Sister said:”What I am, 12?”
Brother said:”Always.” Meantime, Peter was trying hard to loose himself, he used his power to let the rope loose itself, then he wanted to escape from the window. At the same time, there are two men came into the house, the girl said to them:”Sorry, fellas. Ricky and the boys just left.”
A man said:”Aye, I saw. We’re not here for ricky.”
Girl said:”Lucky then. I’ve just tapped a barrel. Two points?” The girl took a gun out.
The man grab her gun and said:”No, thanks, love. We came for you.”
The girl kicked the man, the man push her on the table, at this time, Peter came out from the room and use his power again, the spark came out from his left hand and hit the man down. the other man used a short gun pointing at him, then, Peter raised his left hand and use his power again, but this time, he used the mind-control power to remove the short gun from the man’s hands. Then they start fighting with hands, within a few seconds, Peter used his power to put the man through a wall. After a while, the girl’s brother came back, he said to Peter:”You turned a fixable monetary problem into a blood feud. You’re gonna make this right. We’ll do another job.” They were going to rob again, Peter has the mind-reading power, so he could hear someone’s thoughts. He heard that one of the robbers was going to kill the others and took all the money away when they were discussing the robbery plan. So he told the boss, however, the boss trusted his own men rather than him. At that night, they went to rob the money, at the end, Peter used his mind-control power to move a truck to stop the security guards, so they could run away. After they got home, finally, the betrayer show up, he shot twice at Peter’s chest, and Peter did not die, he stood up and used his power to put the betrayer on the wall and the bullets were pulled out from his chest automatically, and he had the power of recovery, so the wound can be self-recovered. Finally, he did not kill the betrayer, he just let him go, because he has a good soul.
